Choice Streets 2nd Annual Food Truck Event is Coming to New York’s Intrepid

The Village Voice is presenting its second annual Choice Streets Food Truck tasting event on May 7th. The event will be held on The Intrepid, a New York landmark. Attendees will chow down on Pier 86 on some of the most sought after food trucks in the city like Wafels and Dinges, Neopolitan Express, Souvlaki GR and more. It is going to be an amazing evening of fabulous food, drinks and a sick view of New York City. I cannot wait to go to this sold out event!

The event is a spin-off from the Village Voice’s famous “Choice Eats” restaurant tasting event. Get it? Choice Streets? I’m always excited over a good pun! Anyway, the event as I said will feature samples from over 25 of NYC’s most famed mobile restaurants. Last year’s event was a huge success and sold out 5 weeks prior to the date! This year is no different!

The event will offer complimentary food tastings, unlimited beverages and a complimentary private tour of the Intrepid There will also be entertainment throughout the night. The VIP ticket allows guests to preview the event early at 6:30PM with an exclusive VIP gift bag.

The Village Voice will once again partner with the non-profit organization Slow Food NYC for the event and plans to donate a portion of ticket sales from Choice Streets.
