The Perfect Luxe Weekend in Paris, a Hotel Review of the Las Vegas Aria Hotel, and How to Prepare Your Kids for International Travel

In the immortal words of Will Smith–Summa, Summa, Summa-time! I can’t believe it’s finally here! And usually I’m all whiney by July because it’s hot and humid but not this year! After quite a miserable winter I am ready to celebrate the best season of the year! And of course it’s no coincidence that it’s my birthday season!

As my regular readers know, I’m fresh off of a trip to South Africa–truly one of the most incredible trips I have ever taken. I have been so busy with other assignments that I haven’t had a chance to catch up on all the amazing hotel reviews I have to share. So far I’ve only had a chance to recount my experiences at Singita Lebombo and Royal Malewane–arguably two of the best hotels in the entire world. I was so blown away by the experience, the animals and also the luxury amenities–who knew that the Bush had so much to offer! And I have many more articles to come!

But enough rambling, my fellow luxe loving Luxury Travel Blog Networkers have been off to some fabulous places that I simply must share!

I am a firm believer that Paris is always a good idea–and Mrs. O Around the World just spent the most magnificent weekend there. It’s times like these that I am so jealous of those who live in Europe–when I have business meetings they’re certainly not in Paris! But leave it to Mrs. and Mr. O who turned their week full of meetings in the City of Light into the perfect birthday romantic weekend. She started off at the Saint James Paris, a Relais and Chateaux property and private members club, had a custom lingerie fitting, toured  La Grande Epicerie de Paris, and shopped at Le Bon Marche. And then voila, Flytographer–my favorite vacation photographers captured her joy perfectly and gave her the best souvenir ever–memories! Check out Mrs. O’s article Here.

Next, my little West Coast maven, Nadine Jolie headed off to Vegas to check out the Aria hotel. It looks like this Angeleno really had her own luxe Vegas experience. Her suite looked absolutely insane–you could pretty much see the entire strip from her bathtub. And can we just discuss how adorable she looks in there with her little green face mask!? But really the service, the food, the spa–everything looked totally epic–just like everything in Vegas is meant to. Check out Nadine Jolie’s article here.

And Luxury Travel Mom gives us a taste of how to prepare for the opposite of a luxury trip–practical tips for how to send your kids without you on an international mission trip. It’s so wonderful to see children giving back like this, but for parents sending your young kids abroad can be scary. Trips like these provide wonderful, life-changing experiences for the children and Kim-Marie gives helpful advice on how to get ready to send your kids off without you and make sure that they are safe–no matter where they go. Check out Kim-Marie’s article here.

So, that’s all from my favorite luxury travel bloggers this month! Be sure to check back for more fab luxury stories and stay tuned for lots more about South Africa!
