Ask the Concierge: The Five Best Things to do in Denver for Luxury Travelers
Happy March, everyone! Can you believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel for those of us who are struggling to make it through this miserable winter in the Northeast? Well, for those of you who are regular readers I have a few recurring columns on the site and today marks the first of a new series I will be hosting called “Ask the Concierge.”
When I travel–especially when I stay at luxury hotels–I get some of my best travel tips from the hotel concierges (I’m looking at you, Four Seasons concierges who have on numerous occasions gone above and beyond for me). So in this new series, “Ask the Concierge” I will ask hotel concierges around the globe, what their top picks for luxury travelers in their cities are. It’s that simple.
Up first let’s travel to Denver, the Mile High City. We checked in with the Four Season Denver‘s concierge team and they gave us five fun options for the best luxury experiences that they recommend to guests.

1. Colorado Heli-ops Tours
Flying even higher above Colorado’s Front Range, which rises nearly 10,000 feet above the Great Plains, guests can experience a variety of tours–the Mile High, Boulder and Flatirons or Romantic Escape tours. The tours start at $650 for 60 minutes.
2. Denver with a Driver
Presidential Worldwide Transportation will tailor your own tour around Denver and the Front Range. A SUV runs $105.64 per hour with a minimum of two hours–or a sedan is $77.84 per hour.
3. Romance at Four Seasons
This special package for smitten sweethearts includes several bouquets from The Perfect Petal, Denver’s premier florist, as well as a trail of rose petals in the guests’ room. A private dinner for two at our chef’s table is completely customized by the guest, working with Executive Chef Simon Purvis. Following dinner is an elegant carriage ride throughout glittering downtown Denver and when the guests return, they’ll be elated to find Champagne and house-made truffles by Pastry Chef, Ryan Schmitt.
4. Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Red Rocks is an experience all it’s own. The Concierge Team at Four Seasons Hotel Denver will coordinate private car service for guests to experience Sunrise Yoga or score you tickets to your favorite music group. This geologically fascinating outdoor venue can seat over 9,000 and offers epic city and mountain views.
5. Exotic Car Rental
From Lamborghinis to Ferraris, our Concierge Team works with exotic car companies to fulfill guests’ need for speed. These incredible cars can be driven on some of Colorado’s most scenic byways–from canyons to hidden back roads.
Thanks to the fabulous team over at the Four Seasons Denver for sharing their top luxury travel tips with our wonderful readers. And FYI I did not receive any compensation for this post. I just think that concierges are full of valuable knowledge that they may never have the time to blog about! So we are going to feature them here! Do you have any other luxury travel experiences that you would like to add? Share them in the comments!
