My Favorite Healthy Deodorant Plus All the Others That Don’t Work!
I have always been obsessed with using healthy products and once I became pregnant, it became even more important to me that I not introduce unhealthy chemicals to the baby. When I was nursing, I felt the same way. But even when I’m just worried about me, I think using healthy products a healthy deodorant (*Note not an antiperspirant) is important. Many commercial deodorants use chemicals to make you stop sweating, which in and of itself can’t be good. Sweat is your body’s way of relieving toxins. Why would I want to keep them inside?
Anyway, over the years I have been on a quest to find a healthy deodorant that actually works. Because I sweat. I’m human. If I workout, I come out of the gym looking like someone dumped water on my head. It’s gross. I only tell you this so you can trust that I’m not just a dainty woman who doesn’t need real protection.
The best healthy deodorant that actually works that I found is called Noniko Magic Deodorant. It is aluminum & paraben free. It’s all natural. Here are its ingredients: coconut oil, beeswax, arrowroot, baking soda, bergamot oil, grapefruit oil and vitamin E. That’s it. And I pay for this myself. No free samples, honest.
I know it’s healthy is because I check all my personal products on the EWG (Environmental Working Group) website. It’s an amazing resource to make sure that the products you use on your body (and home) are safe!
