The New York Palace Hotel Renovations: A Legend is Reborn
As I mentioned a little while back, The New York Palace just completed $140 Million dollars worth of renovations and as promised, I have some fabulous photos of the new renovations. The Palace–an iconic New York City luxury hotel–recently underwent a thorough transformation from historic, legendary gem to a premier, contemporary masterpiece. The renovations reflect the hotel’s legendary past while moving the hotel’s dreamy decor into the future. I have to say, the renos are stunning! But don’t trust me, have a look for yourself!
The hotel’s rooms and suites have all been renovated and provide the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I just love the updated decor–it’s exactly what every New Yorker dreams their own apartment will look like one day once they’ve “made it.” I seriously was taking photographs so that I can copy everything one day when I decorate my own home. Check out these gorgeous rooms! I am obsessed with everything–but am especially smitten with the wallpaper.
Guestrooms include: Marble bathroom, Microfiber robes, Luxurious bath amenities, Alarm clock/radio, Seating and work area with full-sized desk, In-room safe that can accommodate a laptop (so important for a blogger like moi!), Television with premium channels and On-Demand movies, Flatscreen television, High-speed wireless and broadband Internet access. And all rooms have killer views but the corner suites in The Tower overlook the iconic St. Patrick’s Cathedral with expansive views of the city skyline.
There are also several new and unique dining venues, done by Michel Richard. They offer everything from French-inspired entrees to creative cocktails and everything in between. I personally can’t wait to try Pomme Palais, which I hear has the best croissant in New York.
The renovations were managed by The John Hardy Group. We think they did a glorious job! For more information about booking a room at The Palace Hotel in New York City visit them online.
Thank you for sharing the great photos–I can’t wait to walk through the finished lobby and courtyard. I also think Serena would have approved!

- September 26, 2013Glad to give you something to year for! 🙂
- September 27, 2013While the renovation is welcome (and overdue), the service level at this hotel precludes it from being a considered truly a luxury hotel. There are plenty of far superior properties in NYC to consider.
