Five Sexy and Over-the-Top #ValentinesDay Packages for Couples
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. And what is a Valentine’s Day getaway vacation for if not to unplug, unwind and reconnect with your significant other, right? I mean, say what you will about Valentine’s Day–it’s totally commercialized and ridiculous but who couldn’t use a reminder these days to remember to appreciate your partner! So I know I’ve already listed some of my favorite Valentine’s Day winter getaways, but here are some of my favorites!
The London, West Hollywood
This Valentine’s Day, indulge in luxurious love (or lust) at The London West Hollywood with the “As Suite as it Gets” package. The property’s palatial rooms, extravagant amenities and panoramic views of the Los Angeles skyline set the mood for a night to be remembered. Couples will be treated to an hour long in-room couples massage, a hand drawn bath by a bath butler in the suite’s ultra-luxe bathroom, which encompasses a walk-in shower with two showerheads and a large separate soaking tub. Kick the night off with something sweet when meringue Kisses and rose champagne are delivered upon arrival. End the stay right with breakfast at Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood.
“As Suite as it Gets” ($3,319 + tax per night for 2 people) is available February 13, 14 and 15, 2015. A secondary package option, in a standard suite, is also available and priced at $719 + tax per night for 2 people.
Four Seasons Hotel, Denver
I know I tweeted about the Four Seasons Hotel, Denver‘s James Bond-themed Valentine’s Day packages last year because Goldfinger is one of my favorite movies. This year though they have some great packages too! In addition to traditional packages like the Blush and Allure, which feature champagne, rose petals, massage oils, etc., you can get a Rose Quartz Massage at their spa, which was named a top US hotel spa by Condé Nast Traveler. It features a Rose Quartz Massage for two, utilizing rose quartz massage oil. The price is $150 for 50 minutes or $225 for 80 minutes per person; or $300 for 50 minutes or $450 for 80 minutes per couple. You can also get your James Bond on while enjoying a shimmering Diamond Martini. It is literally held under “lock and key” until ordered when a real diamond is served in the martini, shaken or stirred. Keep the diamond afterward with compliments of Hyde Park Jewelers.
Eden Roc, Miami Beach
Eden Roc Miami Beach is offering an exclusive, couples-only package dedicated to the premiere of the steamy, much anticipated film, Fifty Shades of Grey. The “Fifty Shades of Romance” Valentine’s Day Package is available now through February 28, 2015. The package includes accommodations in an oceanfront suite with one king bed in Eden Roc’s Ocean Tower, 20% off in room dining and one complimentary bottle of champagne at dinner. You’ll also experience welcome “Red Room of Pain” cocktails at Eden Roc’s Lobby Bar, chocolate covered strawberries provided in room, a luxurious shopping Experience at Eberjey lingerie shop, two tickets to the Fifty Shades of Grey at Regal Cinemas South Beach (naturally), an array of complimentary couples product and of course a “Laters, Baby” Do Not Disturb signs for door.
Hotel Palomar, Philadelphia
The “Turndown For What” and the “Drunk in Love” packages at Hotel Palomar Philadelphia are designed to ramp up the romance behind closed doors. Bring the heat inside and steam p a mirror or two! The “Turndown” package includes a romantic delivery of sparkling wine, chocolate-covered strawberries, Kama Sutra getaway kit and your choice of in-room movie–if you get my drift. And this may be a little too much detail but when you’re ready to relax they’ll come do an extra turndown service to refresh the room. Rate code: FRISKY. If you’re feeling extra frisky you can do the “Drunk in Love” package. Spend some along time together in one of the hotel’s King Spa rooms, enjoy an intimacy kit filled with goodies and a boudoir shoot with professional photographer Natasha Esguerra.Rate code: SEXYAnd if you don’t want to leave your room, don’t worry! There will be plenty of in-room treats you can order to your room. Packages are available through March 1, 2015.
Plaza Athénée, New York
Now this is the most over-the-top package I’ve come across! Whisk your honey away this Valentine’s Day to one of Manhattan’s most luxurious 5-Star hotels, The Hôtel Plaza Athénée. Celebrate your love with the Valentine’s Day Couples Package (valid February 14 – 16). The package starts at $1,595 (plus tax) and includes a deluxe suite, a private couple’s treatment suite at Spa Valmont and a six-course tasting menu for two in Arabelle Restaurant. If money is no object, for an additional $84,110 (no big deal, right?) a jeweler from Chopard will surprise your loved one at the hotel with a “Happy Diamonds” pendant featuring 7.72-carats of diamonds and .55-carats of floating diamonds set in 18k rose gold.
And don’t forget, it’s never too late to make your Valentine’s Day a romantic one! Where is your favorite romantic getaway? Let us know in the comments!

But if for some reason you won’t make it to one of these, there is a last minute, frugal gift for your Valentine, available online, on musicalnames.com for less than one dollar. - February 19, 2015I always tried not to let myelsf get too crazy over timing like that (TRY being the main word here!). You just do the best you can– you could also O late from the traveling. But I feel your pain. After being ready for ages and ages, we finally got to the first month we were planning to TTC– and DH had an unexpected week long business trip that turned into 2 weeks, with my O right in the middle. I knew it was only one month but it was SO annoying.
